OUR MISSION
CHANGE of the Peninsula
is a non-profit organization offering yoga, movement classes, meditation and a variety of healing arts workshops.

Our mission is to deliver a quality experience for all through our variety of programs.

Our goal as a holistic community center is to provide a supportive meeting place for interested individuals of all ages and levels to gather, grow and learn together.

We are also committed to providing numerous free and discounted offerings for the community.

OUR CENTER

Our center began in June 2000 through the organizational efforts of a few inspired local teachers. Each month hundreds of students attend our classes. Each month we offer a variety of free meditation, demonstration and alternative health programs for the community. Our scholarship program provides students with the opportunity to attend classes who might have otherwise been financially unable to continue their yoga practice.

Our workshops bring new information from interesting teachers and practitioners to our community. Over 110 workshops have been offered so far this fiscal year on various subjects like:

NON-PROFIT STATUS

We are incorporated as a non-profit organization. We received our 501(c)3 status from the government in March of 2002 and the tax exempt status from the State Franchise Tax Board in April 2002.
